Barbara Jean (Rocheleau) Cousineau, 75, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, on Tuesday April 18, 2017 unexpectedly in the comfort of her home. She was the wife of 56 years to Richard W. Cousineau. Barb was born on July 10, 1941 in Hartford, CT to the late William and Helen (Long) Rocheleau and resided in Enfield most of her life. She loved tending to her flower garden and was an avid UCONN Women’s Basketball fan. Besides her husband Richard, she is survived by her three children and spouses; Rick & Sharon Cousineau of Enfield, Jeff & Kathy Cousineau of Westfield, MA and Valerie Smith & companion Gino Rumore of Enfield, her seven grandchildren; T.J.. & Ashley Smith and Chelsea Smith-Casanova, Ericka, Ricky, Jeffrey and Jessie Cousineau and thirteen great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sisters Pat Cousineau & Peg Laplant.

Services will be held at a later date. Browne Memorial Chapels is assisting the family with arrangements.
